AK_Project wins Archiproducts Kitchen Design Award
A prestigious award celebrating design excellence and innovation
Arrital conquers the prestigious Archiproducts Design Award 2024 in the categoty “Kitchen” with Ak_Project, the evolution of the kitchen system designed by Franco Driusso. This international award celebrates the innovation and elegance of a project that redefines the experience of modern living.
The award-winning setting Ak_Project 2024 stood out for its ability to redefine the modern kitchen experience, seamlessly blending refined design, advanced functionality and sustainability.
New Ak_Project 2024 reimagines domestic spaces, offering solutions that reflect the identity of those who live in it, striking a perfect balance between beauty and functionality. Arrital has thus reinterpreted the concept of the traditional kitchen, transforming it into a fluid space perfectly integrated with the living area. A key example is the new element called Divider System, that replaces the typical partitions, allowing the units to define the living space while ensuring visual continuity and coordination between the kitchen and living area.
Among the novelties, stands out Gem units with glass doors, arranged with an aluminium frame in finish Brunito and a bronze fume fluted glass Lineo, creating a semi-transparent effect that enhances the brightness and elegance of the space.
Endless modular solutions are offered for both units with glass doors and the numerous accessories, in line with Ak_Project’s philosophy, allowing designers to choose from 182 different finishes.
Last, but certainly not least, is the system within the system: Alu-Sky. A multifunctional, modular aluminium structure with integrated lighting system placed above the island to evenly light up the working area. Alu sky is enriched with open shelving compartments, sliding accessories and an extractor hood. Configurable in function of the width of island and crafted with premium materials in aluminium, it harmoniously integrates with Arrital compositions, offering a cohesive and highly functional design that shares the same finishes as the kitchen.
These are the elements that captured the attention of the jury, composed of design experts and industry influencers, for an award that attests the level of this system and represents the new frontier of contemporary design seamlessly integrated with the living space, in the case of Arrital, with collection Feeling Home.
Archiproducts Design Awards, organised by Edilportale, have become a key event in the world of design. This award cements Arrital as an innovative leading player in the kitchen sector, recognising its ongoing commitment to pursuit for excellence, which is leading the company to expand its offering beyond kitchens, toward a life-style concept. The awards ceremony of the 9th edition of ADA took place on Thursday, 14th November, in Milan at Superstudio in the presence of numerous prominent figures from the international design and architecture scene.
