Fenix NTM® - What is it?

FENIX NTM® is an innovative material created for interior design applications by Arpa Industriale. The external surface of FENIX NTM involves the use of multilayer coating and nanotechnology and it is characterised by next generation acrylic resins, hardened and fixed with Electron Beam Curing process.

With low light reflectivity, its surface is extremely opaque, anti fingerprint and features a very pleasant soft touch.

FENIX NTM is ideal for a range of different interior design applications: kitchen, hospitality, healthcare, transportation, bathrooms and furniture (tables, bookshelves, partitions, chairs etc). Suitable for both horizontal and vertical surfaces, this revolutionary product is similar to a laminate but with even better durability. Some of the properties include resistance to scratches & abrasions, matte anti-fingerprint finish and a hygienic & easy to clean surface.

Here at Retreat Design, we have the option of using Fenix NTM as a finish for our cabinetry in a variety of colour ways from our Italian suppliers Arredo3 and Arrital. The most popular colours we have used are the darker colours such as Nero Ingo, Piombo Doha and Grigio which really take advantage of the anti-fingerprint properties.

The main benefit of using this material is its sleek matte finish and excellent durability, making it an attractive option for kitchen and bathroom cabinetry designs. We especially like the use of it for bench tops and built-in, integrated sinks, giving the kitchen a really seamless look.
