Shenton Park Residence | Project Review

Retreat Design recently completed this beautiful renovation of a dated kitchen, laundry and powder room in Shenton Park. The clients had a light, bright and Scandi style vision for the space which was achieved in conjunction with Chartwell Construction.

Two Velux skylights were incorporated in to the kitchen to add more natural light and a large timber sliding door allows for excellent connection to the green outdoor space. The style is a unique mix of relaxed Australian coastal living and Scandi inspired simplicity.
Arredo3 Kali cabinetry in Maximatte White and Asia Timber works well with the custom oak timber handles to create that relaxed feel. The client opted for Q Stone Delicato for the bench tops and minibrick white tiles from Myaree Ceramics for the splash back.

The laundry room and toilet off to the back of the house was also renovated to tie in with the new contemporary aesthetic.

We are very pleased with the fresh new feel of this residence and it was a pleasure to work with clients who had a clear sense of design direction for their project.
